It is that time of the year when we plan ahead and look to you for support in maintaining our program. You all have been a source of strength, ideas and inspiration. In 2005 we opened our Resource Center, located in the Herricks Community Center. This was a very big step for us. It involved a commitment of significant resources and also a statement that we plan to stay. We plan to enrich the community and be part of the fabric that has its center
point in New Hyde Park. We are an integral part of life in the Herricks District.
Recently we launched our Academic Enrichment program with 'BrainPower'. It has been such a pleasure to work with youth these past 16 years and that continues to hold the same spirit, in many ways re-energized with new programs and activities.
We also have made a strong commitment to reach out to Young Adults with our focus on 'Giving Back'. A large number of YICG Alumni have participated in the events to support the Bhutanese Refugees and we see many leadership opportunities for them.
You donation is crucial for us and sustains the professional level of our programs, the diversity of offerings, the generosity of our events and the ability to attract quality teachers. We need financial help to maintain our presence in the Herricks Community and rent space in the Community Center. Please support us.
