The “Bhagavad-Gita” literally translates to “Song of Bhagavan (God)” and is significant among the Vedic scriptures. It is a section of the Mahabharata, appearing in its center. It was originally written in Sanskrit and incorporates valuable advice from Lord Krishna on numerous subjects in the form of questions and answers. Lord Krishna gives these words of wisdom to the warrior prince Arjuna in the battlefield at Kurukshetra, convincing an earlier hesitant Arjuna to go to war. However, the advice is relevant for all of mankind.
