Jyoti Ramani

Jyoti Ramani is one of the teachers taking Vedic heritage classes at YICG (Young Indian Culture Group, Inc.), targeted at Long Island and Queens communities in NYC. She has been working with YICG since 1996.

The Vedic Scriptures are invaluable because they portray the values of love, courage, virtue, self-discipline, and integrity that are essential for healthy existence. What’s more, these Scriptures are the earliest in the world.

Take Pride in Your Indian Heritage

YICG is a non-profit academy set up to encourage Asian Indians in New York to develop awareness about and pride in their Indian heritage that includes Vedic culture. Our Vedic heritage classes serve to achieve exactly that objective. The “Vedic Heritage Teaching Program” introduced by Arsha Vidya Gurukulam forms the basis for the curriculum of these classes. This ten year program covers the following subjects:

Vedic Heritage Teacher

Jyoti Ramani

Born in Hong Kong and brought up in Japan, Ms. Ramani tied the knot in Bombay, and settled in America. She can speak in three languages namely Hindi, Japanese, and Chinese. As a member of the YICG faculty, she has contributed much to the development of the school. Her Vedic heritage classes help students to develop interest in the ancient Vedic Scriptures.
