Mala Ramchandani

Ms. Mala Ramchandani teaches Hindi at YICG (Young Indian Culture Group, Inc.) which has been serving the Long Island and Queens community in NYC since 1994.

As a Hindi teacher with experience, Ms. Mala Ramchandani hopes to empower her students by making them proficient as vernacular speakers. Her sincere effort to promote and popularize the use of the Hindi language in YICG is appreciated by all. Apart from being proficient in Hindi, she is well versed in English and holds a Masters degree in Literature from Lucknow University.

YICG’s Hindi learning program under the tutelage of Ms. Ramchandani can help aspirants establish command over the language and read, write and speak with confidence. Beginner, intermediate and advanced level classes are conducted as per the stipulated sessions.

Beginners would learn the Varnmala to familiarize themselves with the Hindi alphabet and learn the syntax as they move up the learning curve. Ms. Ramchandani would conduct vocal drills and interactive sessions through group discussion and role plays.

Vocabulary building, accent training and writing practice using worksheet are included in the course structure. The language is made interesting and fun to learn with poems and songs that allow students to appreciate the rich literary heritage of India.

The Hindi classes qualify students to take the standard exams conducted by the Rashtra Bhasha Prachar Samiti, Wardha, India.
